WRA performs over 30,000 diagnostic imaging exams each month.

WRA’s diagnostic imaging services include:
Mammography, needle biopsy, MRI, Breast MRI, MRA, 2D/3D/4D ultrasound, bone densitometry (DXA/VFA), nuclear medicine, general x-ray, fluoroscopy, PET/CT, general CT, CT virtual colonoscopy, CT cardiac scoring and cardiac CT angiography.

WRA has 26 board certified physicians practicing diagnostic imaging at six outpatient offices located in the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, Fairfax County and Loudoun County.

WRA technologists are certified in their designated imaging modality e.g., mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

WRA was the first practice group in the Washington area, and among the first in the nation, accredited for mammography by the American College of Radiology; the first in the United States accredited for ultrasound by the American College of Radiology; and, among the first to be accredited for MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

WRA contributes over $700,000 in diagnostic imaging services annually to community and charitable organizations for underserved and needy patients.

WRA has been providing medical imaging services in the Washington, DC metro area since 1948.
