Connect To WRA Secure Online PACS
Washington Radiology provides PACS access upon request by a referring physician. PACS stands for Picture Archive and Communications System. This secure web-based technology is used to capture, store, distribute, and display your patients’ medical images and reports when studies are performed at WRA. These electronic images and reports are transmitted digitally from any location at WRA to our secure online PACS system and archived with the written report for fast and convenient access. Patient information is available to authorized users on any Web enabled PC at the physician’s office or home location.
With PACS, WRA offers the ability to deliver timely and efficient access to images, interpretations and related data. WRA radiologists are always available to discuss study results with medical practitioners. And because report turnaround time is reduced, patient care is improved due to earlier treatment and management decisions.
PACS is one the many ways WRA remains true to its mission of consistently providing the highest quality, cost effective service to our patients and referring physicians.
